Copper Silver Transpo

Cross of India - Daryl

The Cross of India remains one of my favorite effects created by my World Champion best friend, Daryl. Which is saying a lot when you consider what an amazing body of work he has.

The elegant thinking, the clarity of what happens and the simplicity of the method all combine to create an effect which plays with a wide range of audiences. You can perform intimately, for just 2-3 people, or it can be played large, with up to 100 people clearly understanding the magic taking place. In fact, the nature of this particular method probably sets you up to perform this more effectively than any other coins across in a Stand-Up Show, because you seem to be totally clean every step of the way.

The Copper Silver Transposition I feature here was developed after many conversations with Dai Vernon about the C/S Transposition. He felt magicians were always too quick to rush into the effect, so this routine was designed to establish exactly what the situation is at every moment.

The result is a powerful piece of magic that takes place inside the hand of the spectator!

Following the Performance and Explanation of each effect I reinforce every move with an over-the-shoulder SuperPractice Session, then I reveal the Real Secret to what makes each effect so powerful.
